| Description | General Motors bi-fuel systems use a combination of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel and traditional gasoline systems. This course covers bi-fuel system components, operation, and diagnostics and repair for the RPO LFR / FHV system. It describes how the bi-fuel system operates and performs in comparison to a traditional gasoline vehicle. This course also identifies components involved in bi-fuel system operation and supply, as well as some common diagnostic and service procedures.
Upon completion of this course, technicians will be able to:
- Describe system components and operation for RPO LC8/FHV bi-fuel systems
- Describe bi-fuel system diagnostic procedures for RPO LC8/FHV systems
- Recall inspection, maintenance, and storage procedures for RPO LC8/FHV bi-fuel systems
- Identify bi-fuel system components , operation, and diagnostics for the RPO LFR/FHV system
